I love this strip because it is so truthful!! Lila and her best friend are two of the most truthful people I know.

I agree with you both, and the term "Kept Woman" is what I see also. I can only imagine where that will take this series.

celinemread: I am with you on this one. And it is in keeping with the overall theme of schadenfreude of this strip. Anyone who puts themselves into Drew's position is just building their own golden cage. Which some people like, perhaps, but there is something to be said for the freedom that Lila and her Best Friend have.

Don't worry, gang, I have a feeling that it isn't going to end well for Drew. I wonder if Tad is trying to bind her to him in such a way that she will feel that she can't back out of the marriage this time if she catches him fooling around again? After all, she would lose her place to stay. Is the car in her name? In the UK, one can be the registered keeper of a car without being the owner. Is it the same in the states?
