Hmmm, I'm not sure Mr. Sack recognizes the implications of his art here. The Dem's Healthcare effort (we still don't have an actual bill) can certainly stand in for the Wizard, according to Littlefield's interpretation, "a little bumbling old man, hiding behind a facade of paper mache and noise, ...able to be everything to everybody," Funny, the same characterization can be made of Barack as well. I think the American people who supported Barack are more like Dorothy, led astray on a fool's errand and realizing too late that "there's no place like home" - and I'm afraid that once they discover the Wizard's empty bluster it will be too late to go home again. I wonder if Sarah Palin will be our Good Witch of the North?
