Obama couldn't care less about unemployment; like all taxocrats his goal is complete subversion of the economy to breed the dependence on government that buys taxocrat votes from entitlement serfs. Were I a small business owner (and have been one) I'd be terrified that the same entity that makes it so difficult and expensive to do business in the first place is promising to make life "easier" with "cheaper, more efficient" health care. Even if health care were not an issue, the Obama Plan for the American economy is chaos, uncertainty and "punishing" those who profit more than others as if they were criminals for being better at business. 2010 can't get here fast enough.
That's BS, Bob. I help run a small business and we are thrilled to see health care finally being addressed. We have to offer good coverage to our employees to keep them but the costs are outrageous. If you have a better solution than current plans, I'd love to hear it, but doing nothing is not the answer.
He may not be able to create new jobs, but his policies are destroying more than a few of the jobs that are left. And they are certainly keeping existing businesses from expanding and creating new jobs. Businesses are scared to death of what taxes, insurance, and worse yet, government mandated salaries will do to them, so they are not spending money on expansion, even if they are a solid business.
Where are the jobs going to come from anyhow?
Over the last 30 years we just let China and other nations have our manufaturing industry.
What are we going to do drop the intrest rate and start a housing bubble again? Unfortunately it can't go any lower.
