Sometimes when you have a new roll of tp the end is sealed. Later if you find that you accidentally "undered", should you take the trouble to re-roll?

If you hang the paper "under" - how's the maid supposed to leave the end in a point when she's done cleaning?

Varnes, that is the comment of the day! Great job! XD

im totally an overer, that's just what tp is supposed to look like.

According to tp manufacturers and designers, tp is designed to roll over. Haven't seen any color designs for a long time, but much of the white still has a design embossed on it. Can't see the design if its facing the wall. I read about that many years ago in "Hints from Heloise". The original Heloise. Does her daughter still do that column? Haven't seen it for a while. Not in our local paper.

I must say that I agree with rat completely. Tell me: how do you tear off a few sqares of undered TP in the dark or an emergency? You can't!

Rat has settled a debate that I have been arguing over for the past 4 years. At first, i didn't care. Then, someone challenged me about my toilet paper-hanging technique. I have been an over-re ever since. Simply put, I don't want my toilet paper against the wall where potential pets could more easily get at it. See? There is a practical reason! There, just one more bean in the crazy comment pot that is the PBS Comments page.

When I moved one time, my sister gave me a house warming gift of a toilet brush. It worked OK, I guess, but I still prefer toilet paper..(man this sight is so fast now, I'm probably saving more than an hour a week..)

I guess I'm a hippie who refuses to bend his will to such denominations as the radical overers or conservative underers. I just have two or three rolls on a little shelf, that way I don't force anyone to be ruled by a denomination they don't completely agree with.
