YerKiddingRight, it might be the settings that your operating system is using. There are some free programs on the web that allow you to adjust these settings to help optimize your send and receive rates. Just research what you can do with your OS, I recently upgraded to 7 meg dsl and tweaked my settings. So far I've had good results when going to this site, gotta have my Pearls!
Hey free4rm my system is geeked to the max. This is the only web site where stuff gets bogged down like this. I do video and sound work with a couple other guys and we swap huge files all the time, WHILE talking on skype. The choke isn't on this end. I have to wonder if my ISP (QWEST) servers are having issues. Hmmmm.... But having said all that, I have noticed several complaints at various cartoons on comics.com from other people complaining of the same issue...oh well...like you, I like the cartoon so will keep coming back until it just gets to be to much hassle.

They are having real issues here with bandwidth. Maybe if they cut the number of ad banners from the current 2 or 300 per page down to maybe one or two.
