I try so hard to keep myself from laughing!! But some people are making it very difficult to not laugh. I Love puns. They are adorable. Please stop trying to make me laugh. Some people are trying too hard. I did NOT give anyone permission to try to get me to laugh. So please stop. What about Love?

Oh, as I drool and pluck at the bed covers in my dotage, I must admit that I heard this pun when I was a little kid and my father came home from the supermarket, showing me a weird red fruit. He said it was a pomegranate, and the best part was when you slurped up the seeds, but it wasn't always easy. Yeah, you know the moral he recited: "If at first you don't suck seed, try, try again." Pastis, are you channeling my Daddy's jokes? God help us all!
