They've been publishing strips from 1961 this year, but this one came from some other year. Sometimes they mix it up. I fell out of my chair when I saw that Mrs. van Pelt was speaking in the second frame. Did that happen in the 1950's strips? First Fleshy speaks on Monday in Monty, and now this. I can't stand it.

This is one of the few instances that I recall reading the voice of an adult in the strip. Sparky hardly ever let the grown-ups speak.
