Itzak, there is still a quarantine in England, yes, but the time period depends on the country from which one brings a pet. Under some scheme whose name I can't remember, if the pet has been chipped, had a blood test, and a medical certificate, the quarantine time starts from the time of the blood test, which has to be before the pet enters England: one can do it a few months beforehand and shorten the quarantine time to as little as a month. I don't know, however, whether the States is one of countries party to the agreement that allows this. Claire really won't enjoy England, though, as it is basically a police state. The law is whatever a policeman or one of the fake 'plastic' policemen say it is on a particular day. That's the way the government wants it. I know this very well because I am British and used to live there until things became so very bad. I now live in France and am very happy I moved.
Someone should bring up that Bradley could NOT go to England- unless they were willing to have him spend six months inside a cage at a customs kennel due to them quaranteeing ALL dogs (who customs sees trying to enter the country) for that period of time! Looks like Paul (and possibly the cartoonist) hasn't done the homework here.
