Too bad I couldn't give this one 6 stars. Love the reference to Poe. I caught that in the first frame. And yes, the artwork today is extraordinary.

Will Fleshy be able to throw off his catnip-induced haze and escape from the Wall of Legos? Or will he perish ignominiously in the Dark Dungeon? Tune in tomorrow, same comic, for another exciting episode in our story, The Perils of Fleshy!

I wonder if they grow catnip in Montilla? :-)

Great nod to Poe. And the coloring is fabulous! Not just the legos, but the shadows and the lantern light. I gave it 5.

gameguy49: "no will power"? It took dedicated willpower before I could enjoy the fruit of the grape, until my 30s. And now in my 50s I work hard to keep a constant stock of good quality wine on hand. When my wine sticks are low or poor it is due to a lack of willpower. Anyway, Fleshy is getting off on catnip, something that does not occur in my parts.

Because of no will power, Fleshy drank the wine. Years from now his moldering carcass will be discovered by some child in need of extra Lego bricks.............Oh well, no loss. Hairless cats are a bit freaky anyway!

Oh, now come on! Have can anyone fail to give this five stars for the artwork alone! This is the most impressively coloured strip I have seen all year! Heck, I can't recall better! Now I will read it.
