This is the sore losers' perception of Republicans. Instead of being upset about a fictional takeover of the GOP by "fundamentalists" (to any liberal, a believer in God is a "fundamentalist) and waiting to feel "wanted" you would better serve the Party by speaking out like Ron Paul, who is trying to change things from the inside and not waiting to be courted while taxocrats sink the nation. Modern democrats are communism lite. Either you oppose them or fall divided.
Just for the record, Sinistar2, the Republicans only appear to be fiscally conservative... kinda like the Democrats "only appear" to be social liberals. (They may be a *bit* liberal, but only in comparison with far-right position of the Republican party. They aren't very effective, either. Mostly just talk, little change.)
This one is Brilliant!!!! I totally agree. I was a staunch Republican for years until they decided that the best litmus test for a candidate was how fervently they believed in God. The Republicans don't produce candidates that Think, Reason, Manage and Negotiate. They just come up with Pretty Dullards (Palin) and Old curmudgeons (Dole and McCain) that can energize their shrinking base of Fundamentalists but have no appeal to the rest of us.
I don't like all of the policies of the Democrats either but at least they don't make me feel unwanted because I support Abortion rights, gay marriage and other socially liberal policies.
I'm a fiscal conservative and don't particularly like the way the Democrats are spending us into bankruptcy but Bush and his Cronies were Morally bankrupt and I find that even more distasteful.
