I'm on the first time (within recent memory) diet of counting calories instead of carbs, and I've lost 1/2 my target weight of 28# in 2 months, but I'm doing it by really careful home cooking of good fresh ingredients that include all the food groups, but especially raw fruits and veggies- main meal today- home roasted turkey breast with 1/2T mayo, 1/3 avocado, 1/8 cantaloupe, 3 large radishes and 1/2 sweet red pepper- totally yummy!!
The only thing I ever did that was sucessful was give up meat,eggs and dairy. But when I dieted before that I was doing the exact same thing!Start out great day one and then ice cream by day 3!This was actually pretty funny today.
The title may say Diet, but Luanne is talking about Healthy Snacks in Day 1. That's not a diet to lose weight. BTW - any person that eats food of any kind is on a diet. After all, the food you live on is your diet. Wonder if apple fritters would follow apple strudel?
On day seven, she's eating deep-fried Mars bars in front of her Apple computer. Oh, and she should have alternated between apples and other fruit, like pears and bananas. Eating bananas in public can boost a girl's popularity.
