Varnes: Monty's a great strip -- Jim Meddick is underrated but has a passionate cult-like following with me among the disciples. Some think Frazz gets a bit preachy, but Jef Mallet is a heckuva guy (not a name drop). Is Frazz a grown up Calvin? It's been discussed :-) We may have to take this thread offline.

Varnes: Let's call it near nudity, which is the M.O. of teens today. Raised four daughters, not much surprises me anymore. I look forward to the discussion about how swimsuits reflect the personalities of those who wear them. Thankfully, the same cannot be said about form-fitting bicycle shorts -- TMI for my tastes -- "Hey everybody, this is ME!" I see dust on the horizon ... it's ... it's ... it's a WILD STAMPEDE OF THUMB-DOWNS!!!
And,rekam- Luann, Bernice and Delta obviously lack one basic feeling - gratitude. They seem to have all collectively forgotten that but for Tiffany, whom they exploited and humiliated, Delta would never have gone to Washington and been directed to the loo by Barack Obama himself. Tiffany showed more feeling there than all the three of them put together. Of course, maybe you missed those episodes.
1. Quill's just trying to be polite to a bunch of immature girls in a foreign land - he's obviously far more mature than any of them. 2. In the 2 weeks I was away, obviously something big happened here, because - until yesterday - most of the posts seem to have nothing whatsoever to do with the strip.
