[Well on thing is true, Luann is no Shipoopi.] ================================================== ALRIGHT! A "Music Man" fan! One of my all-time favorite movies, and also my nomination for the "Worst Movie Ever." ================================================== The ORIGINAL version with Robert Preston is my favorite -- The Disney version with Matthew Broderick is the WORST MOVIE EVER!

I agree with Mordock - why is she so tongue-tied today, when she's been nothing but calm-n-collected since she first met him?? Is this just a hormonal reflext or sumpin'?

Quills hands are in his pockets. He has a three girl audience. I hope there's not an elephant joke coming.

Oh great. Another person for Luann to swoon over (you HAVE Gunther you little tramp) only to have him have to return to his country at some point. Hey! We saw this storyline 4 years ago. Get new material Greg!

amisaki: Well, truth be told, I was not quite smart enough or confident enough in high school to ask even the ugly ones to dance effectively. It was self recursive, as they all could sense the lack of confidence, even though I really was not a bad looking lad with farm bred muscles. (A bit like a mix of Gunther with Li'l Abner, nerdy but too quietly strong to be bullied.) In hindsight, I can say that a girl's dance-ability was inversely proportional to allure, the plain ones were always more fun and appreciative (in a sweet way), while the pretty ones (like Tiff) would be limply holding on while checking out the room for the current alpha males. That bit of wisdom only sunk in and was applied about a decade out of high school. Then, a couple of decades later, I realised that all women after their early twenties lacked complete conviction in their appearance and man-pulling power, not just the ones who thought themselves as plain in their teens. Even the beautiful ones (especially the matured ones) appreciated attention - but this time I was ready! So, Mordock, I welcome the gifts of getting older, and the women I go out with are now sometimes the ones that make jaws drop open (ex-models, I am a photographer), all because I appreciate them!

Aw, come on, Ottodesu. Tiffany was SMOTHERING the poor guy so bad I'm surprised the girls didn't call 911. He was lucky to have escaped, at least for now anyway. Tiffany was treating Quill as some recently aquired 'trophy' so who WOULDN'T want to get away?? Also, I don't consider Luann to be 'plain'. She actually kinda cute in a 'daily cartoon strip' sorta way. She just comes across as being a 'Ditz' one TOO many times. Like today, for instance. What I'm REALLY interested in is what Quill's next move is going to be. As far as me getting 'old' well, ain't we all....,
