HPD, what, you enjoy long overheated dissertations? You some crazy, boy! Back atcha, I enjoy this forum and its denizens and also appreciate your not getting testy at my outsider observations about the strip and its art. I enjoyed it a few years ago when G.E. was juggling a couple of juicy subplots/plotlines, so these solo tangents that just peter out aren't too satisfying for me. But I only mention it in the hope he gets his former game back on, not to idly kvetch for its own sake.

I never got around to reading the comments on that board or enjoying AdamsHosk's pirate strips there, just here. Would someone who reads 9CWL really be such a tightarse as to flag him and cause them to dump the board? This kind of smacks of very big guns, so McEldowney could have taken offense and done it and is now either quarantining himself or is just overloaded from an email freakout storm about the site is my take on it.

The nannybot must have seen something incredibly offensive to disable all comments to 9CL (perhaps brought on by the mere presence of nudity?). I must admit the cartoons are more enjoyable when I read the comments; I was busy outside this morning and just finished my weight routine, so I was not aware until now. Well, time for lunch.
