boats752, while I suspect you and I are probably on the same side politically, I do find offense at the use of your term "monkey man". Like him or not, socialist though he probably is, he deserves respect, if only for the office he holds. Leave the name calling to the lower class of people.
OK, that being said I think Luann's look does have more to do with Tiffany's ego, and her former role as Miss Chamber of Commerce. If there is one person in the school that knows how to get somebody to do something for them it is Tiffany. Eight hundred bucks is nothing these days, they could raise that in a day or two. But they had best hurry.
I doubt anything so negative or of sexual innuendo is going through Luann's mind. She knows how she can get Tiffany to help by taking advantage of her inflated ego. Some of the comments here are less than childish! Good grief! Grow up guys!
OR...Luann may talk Toni into taking new shots of Tiffany to make a better calendar which WILL raise the money. Tiffany, being, well...Tiffany, will jump at the chance to have a photo shoot. She will probably have no problem giving up the funds raised by the new calendar because Luann will probably tell her that she can sell a lot more of them than the fire department did. And she will probably hint about how many guys will have her pictures on their walls. Ego is more important to Tiffany than money.
NEXT PANEL: Luann in trenchcoat receives breifcase full o' cash plus 1 way ticket from an Arab Shiek.....AND TIFFANY IS NEEVVEERRRR SEENNN AGAAAINNN!... Then Luann wakes up.
