I don't think our "right wing" as you refer to it has had much communications with the folks in Iran. It's more of people who wanted changed and were willing to put their lives on the lines trying to get it. An exercise in futility perhaps, just like Tiananmen Square in 1989.
Varnes: Provoking people to rise up without providing support? Nah, that hasn't ever been done before by the USA extreme right wing, surely? Anyway, a bird in the hand is worth two bushes. Or something like that.
I'd like to thank the right wing for calling them out into the streets, insuring them that we've got there backs. Too bad we can't watch their slaughter on TV...
