Ahem, uh Susan, I lived in Japan for 6 1/2 years, and I had pizza with corn, a potato slice, squid, you name it. It doesn't taste that bad really. Just think calamari. No clamato though. Btw, loved your first comment about the sushi at BK!
And Guy, before you ask....no, I'm not trying to kill you with that mental image.... Nothing personal -- I just don't want to lose my favorite comic strip, so you have to stay alive. But in case you wondered about the omission, that's why I didn't mention how well it would go with Clamato.
Guy -- read a Japanese pizza menu sometime! How about a nice gooey slice with pizza sauce, corn, asparagus, tater tots, EELS, AND EXTRA CHEESE, sprinked with fish flakes??!! That's for REAL! You can even get it, or something close, at Pizza Hut. According to a Japanese friend, corn is the most popular topping, and she misses it on American pizza. And I can't even stand pineapple or barbecue sauce desecrating mine. Is nothing sacred?

True, but in Australia they do serve shrimp at McDonald's. That may be apropos of nothing, but it grossed me out when I saw it, so I thought I would share.
