There is a great scene in the classic movie, The Battle of the Bulge, when the Germans drop propaganda leaflets on the American soldiers. One guy gathers up a bunch and heads into the woods. Hey, Arlo, I bet you still get the free toilet paper. Lands End, Cabala's catalogs, junk mail, provide plenty of paper. Knock yourself out! But yeah, susan's right. It's a little too glossy for me. It would probably just smear, stuff around.
I guess maybe it's because a lot of my friends are farmers, but I think Arlo's coat looks good on him. I missed what Arlo meant by free toilet paper at first. Susan, I'm with you on not wanting to go back to using the Sears Wishbook.
I see UPS leaves stuff on their front stoop too. What if it had rained? What if the varmints got it? What if a passerby gets it? Why not leave it with my neighbor? Etc.
I've just noticed that the time stamps on the comments really are inconsistent. susan refers to keaplin's comment which has a time-stamp 42 minutes in the relative future. For a very long time, I've wondered why reading the comments in chronological order didn't always make sense. (VPI.NET - What's up with that?)
