Would ALL of you on BOTH sides of the question of what type of people Mary Lou and her family are PLEASE realize that you have made your positions known more than once and don't need to keep making them? I know I can skip the comments I don't like, but I'd rather not have all of the extra scrolling required to do so.

Could you be more specific? We represent a wide cross-section of humanity and may exhibit any number of discrepancies, from social to physical.

@pearlandpeach - Re: The current story line. The short version is that Mary Lou and her father Gus run a hotel at a beach. Arlo, Janis and Gene stayed there several times when Gene was a kid. Gene and Mary Lou became best friends and stayed in touch while growing up. In high school, Mary Lou slept with a guy who ran off when he discovered Mary Lou was pregnant. Mary Lou chose to keep and raise the child, Meg, who is now 5(?). Gene and Mary Lou are becoming more serious about their relationship, to the point where last year Gene briefly thought about dropping out of college to be with Mary Lou. You can get more background at Mr. Johnson's blog, http://arloandjanis.com/ especially this entry: http://arloandjanis.com/?p=839 ______________________________________________________________ All - Is this a reasonable summing up? I gave it my best shot. ______________________________________________________________ Oh, and I find my day goes much better and happier if I just skip reading any comments made by celine. Plus, I can get through the comments faster. I commend that strategy to others. (Although I did like your rewrite, trigcove.)

Let's not be too hard on women that have dated more than one man. If weren't for them, I would NEVER have gotten lucky my ENTIRE life. (how about you, eh?) ### BLESS YOU, lovely ladies! ### One Kat's opinion. :) ### Have FUN out there, y'all!!! (and what's more fun than women? - uhhh... nuthin')

trigcove, since CERTAIN PEOPLE insist on rewriting everything, editing their work seems fair to me. I give thumbs up on your version!
